Arse end dropped more
and then next month some OZ Super Leggera's.

P.S - The car already currently hosts a stainless steel 4 branch manifold, decat and remus racing centre section.

what was messed in the crash mate?
PhilW

Front bumper, bonnet, windscreen and the roof was creased.
Luckily it didnt damage any pillars, so its just a case of a new roof skin rather than fill it with... filler !

I would rather crash a convertable one then a normal one. For it to be a factory standard convertible it needs to have solild struts and a whole lot of strenghtening on the Chasis to support the roof not being there. Therefor it would be a hell of a lot stronger then a standard saxo. Just dont roll it, lol.

That would be ace if you could actually pull it off, make the saxo into a convertable, i dont know if any of you read the fast car mag, but one of the editors was (i dont know if he still is) converting his nova to like a pick up truck thing. What more of a excuse would one need ? lol !
Anyway, how much is the work going to cost you mate or are you going through insaurance?

Not going through insurance pal, works out cheaper for me to do it privately because of my crash history (4 recorded 3 at my fault - unfair !)
Parts have come to about £300 all in (all brand new except for roof) and labour will be about £500.

Still not quite finished yet !
Needs mopping, and the wings may have to be blown in at the top, its a shame but unavoidable, he spent hours trying to find a good colour match.
Popping back up tonight to get it mopped, so he will decide what to do then !
Front bumper is a non-gen aswell and fit isnt the best on the passenger side, so will be sorting that aswell.
Not sure if i like the grill now i have the black bits on, may swap it for a standard one !

just my opinion though !
