DVLA Problem

Hey im in need of help/advice.

I scrapped a car a while ago and the guy that came to pick the car up filled out the paper work which i sent off to swansea but he hasnt sent his part away and the dvla have never recieved my part of the log book ither.

When i realised i didnt recieve a letter confirming owership change I phoned them up and they say they cant deal with it over the phone put it in writing. Wernt very helpfull tbh.

So any one else had this problem and if so what did you write

Same thing happened to a knackered Saab I had years ago. Just write saying its not yours any more, when and where was scrapped and sign it. Should get confirmation back from DVLA.
