smooth boot help

in the process of buying a smooth boot for dirt cheap.
now the smoothing is an absolute sh*t job its had the plate welded then smoothed then painted,
how do i fix the smoothing.

If it was me i would sand out all the old filler back to where the plate has been welded and start over from there just incase the old filler has cracked smileys/smiley16.gif

Yep I would sand it down all the way and start again. Best done at a body shop unless you are confident enough though.
