Hi i just went to go see a car today and was all gd and brilliant for me, i phoned him later if he would take 3500 cash for it he said yh. but he said let me just speck to his mate as he is selling it cause he cant afford it and is buying his mates car. then he said can u pick it up next sun as he is busy the whole week, and that he has to take out his ICE system as this wasnt inculded in the sale and he wanted to keep them, i dont blame him cause it was a lot of kit there worth over 1000.

i was just woudering do u think it is a bit fishy that he cant do it until next sunday i mean come on that is a long time. but then if it is wat the hell can he do to the car or somthing?

he might do shift work if he works. but yer take another look round it and another test drive just to make sure you want it m8. whats the car?

The car is a Silver Y reg furio, 30k on the clock very very tidy and it was well looked after has got a Magnetec Back box with 15"s on it, it was nice

any more things to look out for?

yh but furios like u should well no are not that coman and are quiet hard to find well the right one put it that way.

buy a VTR can get mate you can get 02 plates for around 3500 - 4000K

I didnt realise Castrol made backboxes...?

£3500 is quite pricey for a furio, but if you have your heart set on it mate - why worry, its your money!

Sounds ok to me, my furio was 2999£ from a RAC trade place; lowered, induction kit and zorst. With 49000 on the clock I thought it was awesome, still do as I didn't pay for it! smileys/smiley16.gif

If he's taking stuff out of the car after he's accepted your offer, that's suspect! One of your options is to leave well alone, tell him you've changed your mind and look elsewhere. Loads and loads of cars available for that sort of cash, don't go with someone who seems to be messing you about.

Obviously not going to be the best answer for you but I would say keep looking for sure. I know exactly how you feel at your age, wanting a car and when you see one you like you have your heart set on wanting it, but in the longrun it is well worth waiting for that perfect no hitch deal.

Oh and yeah for that price it would be worth hanging around as there would be some decent deals available.

is it de-cated if so you will need a cat for a mot. they aint cheap. that is very low miles for a Y reg i have a W with 58000 on it. ask if he still has all the parts that he has replaced incase you want to put it back to standard for insurance purpases. ask when the last service was done on it. is he replacing the stereo for you. leaving one in.

I second that, I got my VTR 27k on the clock, perfect condition for 3.6...

Seriousley 3.5 for a furio is pricey no matter how rare they are just look around for a bit...

I sold mine for 3.1k with 15" alloys and it only had 29k on it and it was minto!

Saw one in the paper the other day for 2.5k, they are dropping in price loads.
