While personally i feel that some people do needlessly come into our country with the whole idea of basically using our system and getting as much benefits as possible. However the same can be said for a larger proportion of so called british people who use the system to gain thousands for doing shag all and being a bum.

Did anyone see the programme the other day about foreign workers. It basically highlighted the point that a lot of people who say come from poland or the middle east or wherever to do jobs, do a much better job for the employer than a lot of the english people would do. i mean seriously if i had my own business and had the choice of an english person who wants £8 an hour or a migrent worker who would work for minimum wage and work 30-40% harder i know which id choose.

I know this doesnt directly have anything to do with this thread but i feel the whole immigration thing will come up at some point.

ive worked with the polish before, and yes, they are much harder workers. i will give that.

the ones i dont agree with, are the non british citizens who dont try to make anything of them self!
and as for the brits, that dont work, or fuck all at that matter and get free medical care, living allowences and benifits, make me more sick and id rather see them get deported tbh!

i work my fucking ass off, on a daily basis, to have to pay 30 quid a month for inhalers!

It makes me sick how the just say i dont want to work, and the government give them hand outs like WTF man, example - my mum has worked all her life and gets naff all from the government because she lost her job a year ago but a friend who has just left school can go straight onto the dole and get money like WTF!!! has he paid into the system NO he should get naff all people who are hard working and honest get shit on and all the lazy bums who do naff all get it given to them on a flaming silver platter.

I don't buy into this whole thing about Brits not working hard. I work damn hard and so do all my staff; so do millions of other British workers. On average, as individuals, we also work the 2nd longest hours in Europe. Yet people seem intent on declaring that Brits are lazy.

Sadly, this is because the Labour government have conspired to make this a fashionable train of thought which basically helps to soften up the general public in terms of making them more receptive to huge volumes of foreign workers. No need for a referendum on Europe then. Obviously a lot of immigrants come here to work hard, that's not in doubt. But, comparing them to a minority of lazy British dole scum is just ridiculous.

That program called "the day the immigrants left" is a classic example of what I'm on about.
