Hi All,

I haven't washed the saxo in weeks due to the bad weather but gave it the full works last weekend. I got some bilberry wheel cleaner which is fantastic but I still seem to have been left with some crap on the wheels. Looks like speckles of baked on brake dust. I diluted 7:1 and even went down to neat but it's still there. Not really noticable unless you are looking really close but I know it's there. What do you think will shift it? Some agressive clay maybe? My rear axle is fooked (which is been replaced shortly by IM Axles) and I think there's been excessive breakdust on the wheels due to this problem.

Cheers

Mild / Agressive clay......some would say use a more agressive (acid based) cleaner but i wouldnt let any chemicals near my rims...

Clay FTW

Thanks James I thought claying would probs help. I'll give it a go and see what the outcome is like. Is there a clay you would suggest? I'm thinking of doing the whole car too ans it's probs been a year since I last did it....:n:

Use some detailing spray as a lube.
