After seeing a guide on Detailing world, on how to clean the arches and wheels.

I'm going to attack mine on the weekend!

He said to use an all purpose cleaner, but didn't say which one, i have some " Muc-off" de-greaser, would that do?

I was going to:

Pressure washer

Spray on De-greaser

leave to soak

Rinse

SPray on again

Scrub with a brush

Rinse

Both on the inside of the wheel and the arch

Does this sound ok?

Megs APC would be better.

Supermarket APC ftw. They're all the same in essence.

My 'Sainsbury's Lemon APC' does about as good a job as my friend's Meg's APC.

Is there something wrong with them?

Don't want to open a can of worms but do they contain a harmful chemical?

Quite possibly do yes buddy tbh.

I always prefer buying a product specifically designed for working on cars.....that way you ca guarantee its going to be safe and not do any harm.

This is just my opinion though.......i am a tad fussy lol

The carlack 68 product is very good buddy.....but for the extra £5 ish you get a product that you can dilute down to make like 5 gallons.......would last a veryyy long time.

A P Cleaners can be used for alot of things though buddy like cleaning your engine bay and your interior fabrics etc etc.

Choice is yours though.

James, no one on DW seem to have problems with supermarket APC, so I can't see why there'd be any problems. :p
