gears sticking [Archive] - Saxperience

Hey there guys has anyone had problems with there gearbox sticking. Mines seems 2 do it all the time when putting it in reverse. Any advice would b greatly appreciated. smileys/smiley4.gif

my car is a twat in reverse, if it dont go in ill lift the clutch and a nasty grinding noise will happen :S

yeh thats what happens with mine 2, do u have any problems with any of the other gears.

its just the shity citroen gearboxes. mine does it,so i have to keep pressin the clutch until it goes in.happens on my dad xantia,his previous xantia and the 2 zx's we had before aswell.

its shit eh. I just had problems with my battery2, couldnt get the car 2 start so went and got a new battery and when i was driving my engine autodiagnostics light was coming on so thought something was wrong with the car but when i changed the battery it was alrite. Took the battery back and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. smileys/smiley5.gif

my last 2 saxos have had trouble gettin it into reverse, i wouldnt worry about it if it aint doing it with the other gears

I take it thats just normal for saxos 2 do that.
