just wondering how many people on here do ipa wipe downs? seen a lot of good write ups on here but not seen anyone using it.

IPA = Isopropanol alcahol
its used betwen polishing stages to remove and polish residue that can fill defects. without it you may think you have fully corrected swirls... but could well be mistaken.

No...thought that was clear from my comment :panic:
I just tend to use lime prime lite to remove any oils polish leaves behind to ensure the sealant / wax bonds to the surface.

yeah i haved used it once it did make the wax bond slightly better. its cheap too so may aswell be done imo.

only time i use Isopropanol alcohol is to clean my disk breaks on my mountain bike mate :y: not on my car

As said above Grant im happy using Lime Primer lite to remove any oils / grease left behind from the polishing process.
If you do give it a try though let us know how you get on.
