i have got these wheels and wondered what they would look like white on a posi blue vtr.i went to halford today to look at the paint and plasticoat seemed to be the best stuff,it said that you can use it on alloy wheels.
would i need to use laquer on satin white?

no you would`nt have to, but they will shine better and give better protection.

i was thinking about doing them black but there are to many saxo's with black ones.

is the plastikoat spray paint allright to use?
and if i spray the white should i use white primer?

better use grey primer as youll be able to see if the wheel is coated white properly

It will be fine matey, I have used similar stuff in the past. White will go great with blue, just look at doms saxo. smileys/smiley2.gif

i've just sprayed my wheels, i used grey primer (easier to see when spraying white) I also bought the platikote satin white trim and rim paint, and also a tin of clear lacquer, They look the dogs baws.

thats the paint that i want to use,on the sign in halfords is says about using it for alloys.
