...Hey people, i want to fit a ait filter cone using the standard piping, whats the best way to do this, has anyone done this here or have got any pics that i can look at an example of this? its just for short term till i get a enclosed one.

Hey dan, nah its a pretty old cone type filter, never been used brand new, did not have any fitting instruction as universal, but i done it ! fitted it just now, tbh cant really notice no difference at all ! ok engine sound a little, just a 'little' more gruntier but thats about it, infact i think the cars gone slower!.

that because your car is sucking in all the hot air into your engine which makes it slower. i got a pipercross induction kit and it sounds much much louder. just put some heat proofing around the area where the hottest air is likely to come from

Another thing i noticed, (sorry i have not done this before myself thats why i ask) there another pipe that came from the original box !, thats bare now, i seen some example of people using small breathers for them ? do i need one too ?

yeh thats what i put on mine make sure you take all the piping off first though
