Hello!

Bought a Saxo last week, VTR 1.6 etc etc,

read somewhere that when buying a saxo brand new ABS is an optional extra,

i dont have any switches on the dash to turn this on or off so i assumed that it didnt have it, not that i was expecting it at all, but when turning the ignition on, i noticed this morning that the ABS symbol lights up and turns off again. Is this the car just turning all the lights on and then off again when starting or does this mean i have ABS in there?

Where could i find out for definite, is there any physical signs under the bonnet or would it be in the paper work??

so would i mate but was confused by the light this morning. Braking hard, it does shudder like ABS does in other cars, but that might be just the shoddy standard brakes lol... im not hugely clued up on cars, but tell you what, this forum has taught me loads already!!

learning alot from everyone here, cheers! :drink:

i doubt you have abs. More likely you need new discs and pads. I can supply you some cheap (good quality too)
