I loled.
Shame we got the early goal mind, killed the game off and really dont like it when the sit back tactics get used, united allways look nervous like this.

I did to ryan  i agree when we get early goals the game does get boring, with not very much push, but still opportunities every now and then.

this might be a silly question but why do the united fans wear green/yellow scarfs?
sparky771
10th March 2010, 21:09
well if the stories are true about sir alex launching a boot at him 7 years ago then i think it was abit of his own decision too..... Even so £30mill is alot (i think that what he sold for)
Ryan

because before the club became manchester united the colours green and gold were of newton heath and the fans are protesting about the history of the club being in danger under the glaziers (well the huge debt in which they put the club into)

beckham and fergie fell out it was widely reported due to the lifetsyle changes when he was involved with twiglet.

Is it just me or did / does Ronaldinho look fatigued and over-rated?

Ronaldinho has been over rated for a number of seasons, thats why he got offloaded, he was great in the games in la liga against lower class sides but look at the big games and he doesnt do alot bar the odd '1 bit of brilliance' which isnt that great in 90+mins of football

Agree'd once again, hes a very lazy player, i have never really liked him, i think berbatov is the same IMO

berbatov is a waste of space, much like poborsky and veron to an extent were.
Sadly 32million or wtf was paid for him will mean he will stay at the club for a few years. :(

Yeah, Ive never really seen alot of him as I dont really watch alot of Serie A but he just looks lazy, fatigued and not interested.
Top 3 Players in the world right now would contain Rooney and who else?

possible iniesta as one.
ronaldo and ribery aswell

DB just stole my other two votes.
Messi and C.Ronaldo?
Ryan
10th March 2010, 21:44
see for me I even think messi a great player he is, is quite over rated.
People can score 30+ goals in la liga really easily yet have no impact in big games, bar his goal in last seasons CL final he didnt do alot, then again ronaldo did fuck all aswell.
Ryyy
10th March 2010, 21:48
Not so much their goal-scoring ability alone though, their overall presence on the pitch, especially Ronaldo with the ball control, ball striking, pace, agility etc.
Darren Fletcher was hounding tonight, wouldnt like to be playing against him, would be a constant harrasing pain in the arse to be alongside.
Ryan
10th March 2010, 21:51
fletcher (fegies bastard love child) used to be a waste of space, i used to moan about him alot, all credit to him over the last 18months-2years.
Hes grown up got bigger etc... and its a real shame that a shocking decision against le arse probably cost united the CL final, without him in midfield we really suffered last year.
I still stand by messi being hyped up a bit to much.

10th March 2010, 22:24
Fletcher was under-rated IMO. But then again most midfielders who tackle normally are... people just want to talk about fancy skills now.

fletcher couldnt tackle his way out of a paper back until a couple of seasons ago though :geek:

Fletcher was a completly useless piece of shite lol. but last 2 seasons he has become fantastic, his work rate is brilliant and he holds the midfield together. Fantasic player.
