Coilover Spring Length

What length spring will i need on a coilover conversion for a Saxo?

275lb Spring 2.25 ID with no helper im thinking 8" or 9". Will a spring of that length allow me to lower the car to around -45mm from standard?

I'd run a 7 and a 2" helper dude

I ran 9's without helpers and 7's with 2inch helpers
i would recommend going 7inch with 2inch helpers

It will depends on the coil overs and top mounts your using as some have a lot more space then others. My old ones had 10” and could probably fit a bit more. But Axnutty was running 7” on there own. Both cars ended up about the same hight.
