Just got my new 306 and its a pretty nice car, and most of my m8s have still got there first cars and bangers, so i go and meet them and one says straight away not a very nice colour is it and doesnt sound too good when theres nothing wrong with it, and other people just dont say anything and then my other m8 has a N reg clio and says i have a bad taste in cars. this sort of thing really pisses me off, why cant people just say nice things and stop getting jealous :( anyone had similar things happen to them???

only a 1.4l im only 17 so need something cheap on insurance and petrol, it does go comfortably though for normal driving and if i put my foot down its pretty nippy :P

we talked on facebook about how we were getting on(she was always doing great and making no mistakes, where i'd tell true and say " shit lesson stalled 3 times")

She had her test 3 days before mine and failed.
i went and passed first time.

when i messaged her to tell her she said well done and that was it, she ant spoke me since.lol

Yea i get this all the time when i first got my vtr they were like oh it's only a saxo i dnt even like them or it's only a 8 valve, i just bought it just because i liked it , so my friend went out and bought a mg ZR thinking she was really clever having a bigger engine car borrowed £3k off her grandad to buy it and next thing were in mc D's drive through starts pouring of smoke i was like head gasket i think so cost her £750.Serves them right for being jelous any one thats said any jelous comments about my car theirs has had something go wrong with theirs.
even if i don't like someones car myself i will aways say yea it's nice it's their car their choice as i say.

my mates Sisters BF ( bit of a sausage) got a clio VVT on finance, Its 110 hp or somet standard, It Does look nice and i said this too him ... But then when he made the comment that it wud KILL THAT ( my VTR) 0-60mph i pretty much laughed in his face. I said there about the same 0 - 60 If not the VTR be a bit quicker.... Its like he wanted all the compliments for his car but wanted to run mine to the ground... Hes like it sounds like a bag of shit... when ( ok, its not Running optimally ) But maybe a new timing belt and a couple of things tightened up would sort it.. Its only done 50 k.. 2001 lol

Look ill put my hand up and say i was lucky to have a nice first car, i had a Hyundai coupe, loved it to bit, BUT i didn't apreciate it at all until i rolled it! Then i was back to an AX 1.L What im saying is, doesn't matter what car you have, dont brag, no one has any right to put it down if they're jealous or not, be enjoy it and be sensible with it. i never bang on about it lol its a totally standard 306 but they still get jealous and try and find all the faults and say they dont like the colour or something and i can tell when they are jealous, but these guys have taught me not to listen and i like my car so who cares :)

haha lol this im my third french car, and when my m8 was looking for a car i told him to get a 106 because i had one and he said no french cars are shit and horrible being jealous again, he now has a N reg renault clio :P

I had someone like that. She started learning about 3 months before me, kept saying how she was awesome and gonna pass. Then I started. I passed my theory before her, took her something like 6 (Yes 6) times to pass, and god knows how many to pass her practical which I again passed first time.

She always kept on saying how she was an amazing driver though. But while she was bragging, I showed who was a better driver by getting my head down and taking like 3 times less the time to learn to drive.
