Never used it before and im about to buy meguiars quick clay kit for 8 pound.. Is it really worth claying the car. Will I see a 100% better finish. Thanks guys

has the car ever been clayed? Run your fingers along th paint and you should feel a wee bit of roughness. If you clay it youll be amazed at the difference.

Should you clay , errrr YES is the answer, trust me mate you will be amazed at what you will remove from the paint, but make sure you keep the surface lubricated well, also turning it over onto a fresh peice and so on, let us know how you get on , get some pics up later.;)

i got a 200gm bar of built hamber clay for £13 off ebay and you can use either water or detailing spray

If you dont clay you may as well not bother....just keep washing it as you will not get very good results. Its like step 1 of the polishing process.

Thanks guys I went and got it will now wait till the suns back or the wind to go ;) was ment to say worth it on silver cars and for some reason I think silver car dont shine as good.. Like black or posi blue etc..

from my experinence dont do it in direct sunlight, drys lub up too quick and shouldnt do it if bodywork is hot to touch.
But willl be amazing results, even if ya cant see it you will definately feel it :y:

half an hour it takes me maybe less but thats about right for me;)

Viper takes me a few hours. Always takes me ages when i'm detailing, perfection is the key!
But where can I get a clay kit for £8? Thats a bargain!

depends how bad the car is really lol If its done regularly enough shouldnt take more than an hour tbh
