its very low

Mattymcn

Slammed means very low saxo, *slammed on its arse* 100mm+ lowered on the torsion bar,

Chris_O
14th March 2010, 16:51
When someone 'slams' their car, it mean they have inserted their penis into the exhaust pipe. You should try it

Tontsy
14th March 2010, 16:55
when people say their car is slammed and its lowerd 50-60-70-80mm . . .its not.

imo slammed in AT LEAST 100mm!
you will start to see a few issues when your that low, but can go down to around 130 mark.

ive been sat at 130 all around for the last year!
the last two weeks ive spent money and time on raising it back up... its fun for the first few weeks...then you realise that subtle and 40-60 is the way to go!

I agree. I saw gains of 3 inches and an increase in metabolism after trying it:y:

Most "slammed" saxos seem to be the arse draggin on the floor, with the front still high, looks gayy and probably handles like shit. :n:

40-60mm ftw.

gouldy87

front 60mm - rear 80mm win

slammed means lowered. to many people on -60mm are saying the slammed word where it does not apply

Jazz
14th March 2010, 19:52
Slammed means lowering it so much that the smallest pothole or speedbump will rip off your front bumper and leave your backbox in the middle of the road.

Looks good parked up, but drives like crap. A good compromise would be around 40mm drop for looks and driving.

gouldy87
14th March 2010, 19:55
slammed would be this -

14th March 2010, 20:55
mates saxo is that low it need to be driven onto bricks before we can jack it up,
cant be good for the tyres and total pain in the ass imo.
even more so when you forget put the bricks back and let the jack down.

with air suspension you can literally make the frame / chassis sit on the floor and wheels be off the ground. cool as fook but not good for your wish bones

Ah mate the 3000 rpm might have toasted it bit too much much! I tell you what though, redex might be a blinding idea, a possible 7 inch gain could be within reach!

So when you stop at the lights you drag them out of there car and shake them around a bit, then slam them on their bonnet or even the floor whatever its all the same meaning

I don't like the slammed look at all. And how you would have to go over the smallest speedbump at 0.5mph
