tbh i wouldnt get a rs 125, id go for the super-moto ones, the aprillia mx 125, same engine, but just so much nicer to ride... i found with a rs 125 it had no front end grip, like u would brake gently in the rain and it would just slide haha... but its up to you :)

My insurance was about £20 a month I think on my SR 125

Tbh, if your 19 don't get a 50, go straight for a 125. A decent RS125 will have about 20-32 bhp, which is more than enough for a first rider to get the hang of. They are good fun, just not cheap to run being 2 stroke.
Imo, the best 125 to have is a CBR 125, mate has one and I can't fault it.
Also yes, you'd have to declare the accident, my mate did when he got a bike :)
Hope this helps

depends on your insurance company if they want to know about your car crash. i had a crash in my car a couple of years and my bike insurance wanted to know about it even though it wasnt my fault. then i swapped insurers over and the new company wasnt interested.
as far as 125's are concerned, the rs125 isnt the most reliable of bikes. and when things do break on them, they have to be ordered from italy because there are no parts dealers in the uk.
honda make a 125 and yamaha make one that looks like a mini r6 and i think was voted best 125 'sports' bike a couple of years ago, other than that you are looking at the sr 125 but you will have the same problem with parts.
pretty sure yamaha and honda are cheaper to buy aswell.

Ever considered the NSR125? Nice/quick enough and more reliable than most of the other 2T's out there. Not the quickest but then again they are only 125's...
Also if your doing alot of miles etc a MX might not be the most comfortable as they dont offer much wind protection..
