flapping noise

when im accelarating there is no noise,but when i let off the accelorator pedal a kinda flapping noise comes from the gear box and also when i dip the clutch any ideas

u sure it from the gearbox? is it when you are going along?

yeah ive had front end in the air, and yeah when im driving but not in reverse tho

sounds like clutch release bearing

i was finkin driveshafts, and someone said clutch release bearing, but its booked in now anyways so thanks for the help guys smileys/smiley17.gif
