iPhone or Blackberry

This will have probably already been brought up so sorry if this is a repost...
but my contract is coming to an end very soon and I am not sure what to get, some of my mates have Blackberry's and tell me to get one of them and some have iPhone's, also telling me to get one of them..

What do you think is better ?

I have an iPhone... have recently upgraded too and don't regret it. My sister has a Blackberry and kind of wishes she went for the iPhone. It may depend on what you want out of a mobile. iPhone should be bringing out their new 4g phone mid-late 2010 if you can wait until then.

I'm with O2 and they were only able to offer me the 3GS for an upgrade price of £50 and I had to take out a 24 month contract, so I thought... sod that... I'll just stick with the free upgrade to the 3G and go on an 18 month contract. I don't "think" other network providers could do any better as iPhone tarrif's are different to normal network tarrif's.

IMO people only buy a I Phone because they seem to be fashionable.

Blackberry suits my life style perfectly and will never consider anything else.

a lot of people have an iPhone but most of it is all hype and people being sheep and just getting one because everyone else has one!

Depends what you want from a phone, put a list of what you use it for and it will be easier to reccommend.

I have had an iPhone before they got big and thought it was a bit pointless and not great tbh. Have an HTC now and its a lot better

I got a iphone because they look very nice and all the apps, etc you have on them. Shame they dont have a better camera and battery life but i dont like blackberrys tbh, dont like the look of them and think theyre just purely business like phones and all the uni geeks have them now too lol.

Ive had both berrys and iphone.. I need emails 24/7 and as a phone i much prefer my berry to my iphone.

Iphone not a USA gadget, or have apple suddenly become a different company ;)
