Need help about a Decat

This may be something basic to you all, but what does a decat do, and if i bought a backbox, do i need a certain decat for that back box? Thanks :)

a decat replaces the cat in your exhaust system and no you dont need one for a backbox m8. fitting a decat just opens up a little more power as the standard cat restricts power a little hope this helps

you'll find it just underneath the manifold, off to fit mine now. find a pipe of any saxo with the cat under the car. :y:
