Random I know but Wtfs AXracing display pic all about? A saxo pulling out infront of a motorcycle on a straight road?
I myself was in a huge motorcycle accident 7 months ago just learning to walk again because of a young driver not paying attention at a junction, maybe I should bite my tongue. But just wanna know AXracing is it supposed to be amusing or ?

Im sure theres a logical explanation
Must be planned or something or its a random time to take a photo

It's the fact it is a Saxo pulling out, by as a motorcyclist myself i don't find it amusing at all.

Hey Fubsy,
There was no offence intended and I am very much a bike fan my self. It's a reminder for people to look out for bikes as a fair few of my friend have been hit by cars over the years. My fathers best friend was killed and my friends farther was paralyzed so it is something quite close to me. The photo was on a bike forum some time ago and just thought as it was a Saxo it would do for here. Though I am confused as to why you posted this addressed to me on a open forum? If the photo has offend you could just send me a PM explaining such and I will happily change it. Or if you don't wish to talk to me you can always contact a moderator direct and they will sort it for you. I will change it anyhow to stop any argument

both sets of road users need better education, you often see bikes going down the outside of traffic when junctions are approaching, all it needs is the person to pull when the bike is sitting out high in the blindspot and then the problems occur!

You're right, yes. There are some idiot's on bikes. But you tend to find that bike rider's still look out for each other and when they're in their car they're alot more concious of both car's and bikes.
Most people who don't ride bikes generally never think about them.
Plus another thing to consider when riding a bike is you also have a better view of stuff infront than in a car. You're sat higher and have no pillar's blocking your view. Just seeing behind which is more awkward. Especially with how small modern mirror's are.

i think by seeing the avatar it if anything makes you think. shit yeah i will watch out for bikes! it more like an advert showing a incident that could happen so makes you more aware. dont see why people would get offeneded by it. the adverts on the tv for driving 30mph are much worse!!
the pedo bear avatars are worse:p

I've seen/been in a few bike accidents myself... and his avatar did put the point across.. as that happened to me! old lady in a pug pulled out of a side road and BOOM over the bonnet! Sad times! luckly not to much damage to me, but my NSR was wrote off :(
But some of the lads i ride with tend to take the piss tbf, ride a bit wild for the road conditions etc!

Nobody was getting offended.
People just didn't understand the picture. It could also be seen as someone purposely pulling out on a bike ...which was mentioned by the OP.
Now it has been clarified what is happening in the pic, I dont think anyone has a problem with it, infact I actaully think its a very good avatar now I know the meaning of it.
