Love the colour, monaco blue iirc.

You can get a ph1 for cheaper though and will be faster as well.

From the pictures it looks tidy.

Miles wouldnt put me off but could knock them down a bit. Just make sure its all running fine, had things like the water pump and cambelt changed.

I love the colour never seen one that colour before and the wheels look great with it, il have a through look over it tomorrow and hopefully bag a test drive as theres a few cars i wouldnt mind for my next one.

As for the ph1 i know they are quicker and that they have a much better throttle response but i really like the look of the ph 2.

Make sure the belt is been changed recently, its not a cheap thing to do.

When viewing try not to give it away that you like it, and always say you have other cars to view. Then go away and have a think about it and then go back later on to offer money if you want it.

Dont rush into buying it.

Just got back from driving it, loved it, can see now why so many people get these after saxo's. Not gonna get this particular one however as the guy didnt have the service history with him and the belt looks like it needed doing but i think iv definatly found my next car. Cheers for the help guys.

little bit high on price. just get signed up on cliosport as you would pick a ph2 172 up for that price.

I work at a renault garage we sold a 52 plate 172 with 94k full service recent cam belt etc etc for £3600, was perfect, no marks no tears in interior all original paint work. Don't be put off by mileage the 172 engines will last as long as fully serviced!!!

As said above, the price is very rich for a car without history/cambelt done.

There's a few nice ones for sale on CS at the mo iirc :y:

Yeah tbh today was more about test driving one and seeing what i thought and iv gotta say i enjoyed it very much. Haha. Currently looking through the ones on cliosport now. My budget of £3250 should get me something quite nice.
