i've jus read on a site,a few tips by a woman workin for some insurance organisation for the U.K. she says for parents not to buy their children a car until they've been driving for at least a year\so that they can have a years no claims?is this true then?because i've been a named 2nd driver with my dad for the past 14 months.does this mean i've got a years no claims in my name then?

No you only get ncb in your own name. If you've been drivin for 10 years all as a named driver you wont have 10 years ncb. You'll have none. This is what ive been told anyways and I think is true. Hope it helps.
