i've jus read on a site,a few tips by a woman workin for some insurance organisation for the U.K. she says for parents not to buy their children a car until they've been driving for at least a year\so that they can have a years no claims?is this true then?because i've been a named 2nd driver with my dad for the past 14 months.does this mean i've got a years no claims in my name then?

Depends which insurance company you with
If its norwich union then yes but for other companies i dont know

i thought that direct line were the only insurance company to offer ncb for named drivers, and they have only just introduced it...
but there insurance is more expensive to start with so it kind of cancels out anyway!
