Hi just found out my mot failed. Headlights were out although i lined them up fine. Problem with the exhaust mount they said 10 pound for them 2 things does that sound about right ? Also theres somethin wrong with the tailgate but they are unsure what it is at the moment any ideas on that on what it might be. thanks

lol he said he didnt quite know yet whats wrong with it just wanted some ideas of wat it could be. 10 pound i know dosnt sound alot but the exhaust got replaced not that long ago so there shouldnt be anything wrong with it and also me and my step dad did the lights.

pay the tenner mate, i just forked £600 to get mine through after it failed it's MOT

lol i think we all hate it. I'll pay the tenner just don't know whats up with my tailgate sounds like even he dosnt have a clue lol.

600 thats a hell of alot. Did you know there was that much needed doing to it.

if he doesn't have a clue, the question that pops into my head is do they even know what their doing? I'd question them on that.

Well i knew my rear axle was fooked. But:

£36 for MOT
£100 for fitting Axle
£200 for the VTS with ABS lowered reconditioned axle
£120 for new brake caliper
£12.99 for headlights
£30 for exhaust fitting etc
Front Brake Pads
Front lowering springs fitted for £80

£600 wow. Atleast it will last now. Who did rear axle or was it a private sale?

ouch mate u got it back on the road now. Just found out how much it is and he said its going to cost me 75 in total but thts everythin including the mot price don't think its that bad.

how can they fail it for something wrong with the tailgate when they dont no what it is? if they dont know what it is, how is it a pass or fail as they have nothing to go on ?lol

thats not bad price dude.

Yeah it's back on the road and tbh it drives alot better, sounds better too :)

I got the axle off here, nowhere had VTS Axles with ABS near me lol
