best way to syphon punto

my brothers punto (mk2) is goin 2 the scrap yard as the gearbox blew and the block cracked and he has a full tank of petrol, whats the easiest way to syphon it out?

Jack it up,Grab a few buckets and bust a hole in the tank....

Just take the pipe off the tank and drain it???

There will probably be a drainage plug in the tank to take out, fuel pipe off to drain it, drill a hole in it, seal up the petrol cap, put a hose down there and blow hard into the hose. Plenty ways tbh.

stick a pipe in the tank, and suck it till you get some fuel threw then it will just syphon it out make sure your at the lowest point of the tank if you can lol

Dont swallow any of the fuel though its not nice haha

just jack it up, wack a spike bar in the tank and fill up a drum :) done it plenty of times

lmao yea i know i swallowed aload this morning and im still burping fumes up lol whoops :drink:

syphoning can be difficult as cars can have a kind of mesh to stop you from doing this, also its not nice trust me when you accidentaly get some petrol in your mouth, it doesnt taste as good as it smells trust!!! and expect to be burping vapour for hours.

surely if its going to the scrappy you can just hammer something very sharp through the fuel tank?
