That's the 2.0L HDI engine which can be mapped , just check the rear beam is in good conditions as these go on the 306's..

also not liking the sound of this!

I HAVN’T GOT ANY SERVICE HISTORY FOR THE CAR AS THE PREVIOUS OWNER DID NOT SUPPLY ME WITH IT,

imo i wud do a HPI check, the fact its got no service history could mean that its been in a smash up and recorded as cat c, in which case they take all the docs of the car includin service history!! But its ur call bud!!! Looks nice tho.

TBH mate i dont know that much about the 306, i drven a few but thats it, diesels tend to go on forever and a day, someon posted on this thread said theres had just done 140,000, if looked after, should nearly do that again!!! I got a diesel, not a pug tho but thats fone nearly 170,000 and still drives like new!!! so diesel are the way forward, and the performance are very good!!!

i've heard of a 306gti6 at 260k miles so i'd assume if its looked after the diesel will be the same

i have spoke to the person about the 306 and he said he is not taking anythink less than £1800.00 on it
im not willing to pay that for a car with no service history so ill have 2 have a nufer look
