since know one will buy my car
i was thinking off striping it bare and basicly building it up from scratch with maybe a chang, i dont know if anyone saw the saxo with a audi tt front end
was thinking of maybe a golf mk5 or somthing, but anyway
how much will i have to replace to give it a new plate ?

I think it's either 85 or 95 percent needs to be new mate.

Agree with this.
If you're wanting to strip it down and stuff, why not strip it down thoroughly, and give it a professional rebuild, as if restoring a classic car? Might sound daft, but it will help preserve it if done properly, and the Saxo (an unmolested one) is apparently going to be a future classic.

to do what you want is impossible basically
it will either end up on a Q plate
or you need to have a 10 plate car to cut up and use to get the registration off and it needs to be 90% that car like
so its no point
i looked into it with an old car i binned i wanted to keep the number plate but it wasnt worth the effort in the end
