If I were to uprate my brakes, discs, pads and hoses, would that make a significant improvement to the braking power or does that rely on the upgrading of the calipers too? may seem like a stupid question but it's bugging me.
Cheers

to actually notice a significant improvement you really need bigger calipers mate.

You will see a Good Improvement by changing your standard size discs but it wont transform the car

go to the scrap yard and get calipers, from a 206 gti.
then goto a motor factor and buy standard 206 gti disks and pads!. you will notice the difference!. this wont work if you have a three stud unless you convert the hubs aswell!.

had a look in a couple of scrappys up here and none of them had anything in at all worth buying smileys/smiley13.gif
John, I might just have to do that in the next few days once I've sorted my finances out smileys/smiley2.gif
