im having a bit of a problem. im trying to look on sax-p for an answer and i cant. whilst trying to remove the bolt for the tracking rod end, it all of a sudden seemed to pop out and now the screw spins with the bolt. how would i get the bolt off as im planning on changing the strut?

if its the screw that holds the rod end into the hub then lever it into the hub and that should hold it enough to get the nut off

Do it back up and give it a spray with wd40 and leave it for half hour, then try again. You should be able to undo it by levering it as said above.IF that fails cut the fucker off and buy a new track rod end.

hold the metal pin with vice grips and try undoing it (preferabbly with a gun) or could hea the bolt up then undo it :y:

I spent ages trying to do this. In the end I bought a replacement track rod and cut the old one off with an angle grinder lol- worked like a charm ;)

lol. ok, finnally got it off after a lot of hard work. couldnt screw it back up as it was still moving with the screw. how did i manage then? well, put a g-clamp on one side holding the top and the metal between the bolt as well as using grips opposite. this was then enough to hold the screw tight and get the bolt off. problem was that there was a lot of rust.......
