Stupid problem

okay i have a little annoying problem i found today

the intermediate wiper doesnt work,only the constant and fast one works,also when i schoosh the water it doesn't wipe automatically,i have to hold the stalk down,also that brings me to the other thing instead of flicking the stalk down to get it to wipe once i have to hold it down,and if i let go it stops wherever it is on the screen at the time

my mate said its the stalk would he be correct in that?

after having a quick search i think its the blue relay

yea woulf either be the relay not telling the wiper to work properly or yea it could be the stalk not working properly id just go down to the scrappies and get both wont cost much

well the relay is clicking when i go from constant to intermitant on the stalk,seems ok

the relay should click when its on intermittent mine does and im sure every saxo is the same then the clicking goes away when it on constant and very fast

yea mine did this morning till it broke ;(ii meant when i change the setting from fast to slow

also it doesnt click on constant which is correct so im thinking the stalk

yea it sounds like a stalk problem tbh you can probably nick one from a scrappy if your sly enough lol

I've got the same propblem. It needs a new stalk. The contatcts inside the unit that go. Try switching it to the one that doesn't work and then pushing the stalk towards the front of the car (away from you). If the wipers work, its definately the cantacts inside and a new unit is required. Got mine on Ebay for a fiver.

Still haven't fitted it though! lol
