just put it sideways up the car with the back seats folded down man
put my b pillar hoop of my safety devices in like that so a half cage will go in the same

i bet thats a bloody challenge lol
ive just seen a pic of the door bars, and now thinking there going to foul on the door bins and seats.....
also when mounting it, do i drill holes through the floor pan and a spreader plate on the underside?

tight gap in there then??
i think you should sell it to me tbh if it does foul
and some people say weld plates in to do it but a spreader under the car could work

possibly an option ;)
i will see what the tutors at college recommend, however after seeing some of the cages the 2nd years have built....i doubt there advice is any good.

When I picked up mine we just undid the seat bolts, laid them down so I didn't need to undo harnesses then put the cage in it's place.
It rattled around a little but if your only going a mile.

You will find the boot doesnt shut, soo take some straps to tie the boot down. It will only be open a small amount.
I'm talking from experience but fisher-vts did have a car full of junk

spreader plates under the car wont do anything. the force is applied from the cage above the floorpan so anything underneath wont be doing anything. You need to weld some mounts in. im not sure about omp ones and where the b pillar hoop feet are height wise. you need to make a shelf for the feet.

as far as ive seen, i think the omp ones bolt to the floor.
so im think borrow a some 3mm think mild steel from the agg boys, 100mm square, weld in to the floor then bolt the feet of the cage through that?

Both myself and Tazmania_0345 are just getting ready to fit our OMP half cages. My plan is to get some 3mm spreader plates made up by a local company. Get the cage bolted through them. When i know they are perfect i will have the spreader plates welded to the floor.
Think this is pretty much whats needed unless anyone can add anymore?

My headlining and carpet went along time ago. I have heard of people fitting the omp cage with the headlining still in but some have mentioned catching on the sunroof slider.
