I ve got a noise a bit like a creak/knocking sound coming from driver's side front suspention. It happens when pulling off fast and braking, also when turning and going over bumps. I ve changed droplinks, and had a second had drive shaft, also had to have a new coil spring fitted as the old 1 snapped. If i bounce the car i can't hear the noise. It also doesn't make the noise if i turn the steering left to right stationary. The only way i can discribe the same noise is if i open my driver door all the way it will make like the same noise, a creaking/popping noise coming from the middle door hinge. could this make the same noise when the door is shut and driving or wot could it be any help cheers.

There is a member with a very similar problem. Rather than list all the possible causes of the problem, if you 'click' onto:-

There may be items there that you may feel you need to check and hopefully sort the problem out. Incidentally, his problem has not been detected yet!!!!!!!!

Sounds like ball joint or bottom arm bushes to me.

Have you tried the top mount They make a clicking-twanging noise

Mine does this, and it's the wishbone rubber/bush that is worn.

Get another person mate to stand on over the open bonnet while you turn the steering wheel, and make sure that the top strut bushes dont move excessively or that the bolts dont move either.
