Amp... What the hell is going on????

my amp does work but its not at the minute..

when i hold the""" RED MAIN CABLE""" with my left and touch the amp with my right hand theres sound "" bass"" and then when i take my hand off the amp ""NO BASS"

ANY IDEAS PLEASE..???????

You hold the copper of the power cable and touch the power terminal on the amp? What size cable are you using?

4 gage really donno whats up with it its a kicker xs50 comp amp.. tryed rewiring the whole lot but still no joy...

Do you mean the amp works fine in your friends car? It could that your hu isnt sending any music signals down the rcas? Or the remote isnt working on your hu. Do you have lights on, on the amp? If so its probably speaker terminals.

my remote works because the light is on, tryed 2 lots of rca cables still nothink well just a slight bit of sound the gain ive turned up and down ..

Ok well is it a setting on your headunit? The reason it worked in your mates car could be that he doesnt have the setting you have. Check the manual for the HU and see if there is a special sub setting that needs turning up to get a doesnt sound.

yeh i would say that but my other amp works in my car..... just not this 1... i donno if its because its bigger or what but its really baffled me...
