Hello, yesterday I was fitting some I.C.E with a few mates, we were putting the battery back on with the amp power cable attached to it. Anyway as we were putting it back on it sparked abit (the ignition was off) and my friend seemed to panic and keep pulling it away. Anyway long story short we got it on, only to find the heater controls stopped working!
Then to make matters worse, the head unit sometimes didn't work (however we think we fixed this), now the head unit displays 'call', the heater controls doesn't work and the AMP is showing a red light :( Can anyone help with this? Its an MG ZR and needs to be fixed today ideally.

find out which fuse is relative to to your heater and headunit, probaby be on your interior fusebox, and replace it

Fuse idefinetly, if your getting sparking from the amp, you sure there isnt a shortage or you've mixxed the wires up on one side to the other?

Just remember, the power to ice is probly about 12V if that - dont be affraid to hold it whilst its sparking, as its never going to harm you unless its more than 25-50, anything over 70v can kill ;)

Hmm, what headunit is it, is it a ripspeed one?

If so - you might need to cut the wire on the back of it that's used for external mobile phones, as i had that problem, it was always engaged in a "phone call" mode.
