what sort of millage are you getting with £10 of fuel in your vtr or vts?

157bhp cammed vts mapped to 97+ RON fuel, usually use 99RON V Power and get 60 miles to £10 @ roughly £1.23 per litre.

Pretty good i think to say how expensive the fuel is and the mods my car's had.

i have a golf now 1 8t and it drinks fuel 40mile i get, so was going to get a cheap run around to go to work and that in as my old vtr used to be pritty good on juice spesh when it was stripped out.

I get about 50 miles out of my 1.4 furio, only got a cat back and induction kit for breathing mods, nothing else done to the car engine wise, must be something wrong but i cant think what lol, and have no money for a service :(

I only used to get 60 miles in my 1.2 corsa c, if you have a small engine and use high revs frequently you will use as much fuel as i do in my vts cos its straining the engine more and you drive it hard to try get a bit of speed lol whereas in a VTS you dont need to redline it to go quick.

i get about 70-100 in my vtr :) i have only had mine 2 months now but i was really impressed with how well it does petrol wise, i get just under 50mpg average i think and that does involve putting my foot down now and then.

these 80 - 100 mpg must be mostly motorways and that vtr/vts could never do that about a town.. I do about 90% town driving and see about 60 for a tenner car is fully serviced aswell

£10 gets me 100 miles in my 1.4 sx thats using 97 ron @ 1.269/litre i find using the higher octane gives more mpg and at only 2p more a litre its worth it
