Hi guys/gals
Got this, my first car at the end of January.
1244512446124471245312449
51 PLate
82000 Miles
3 Previous Owners
Paid £1500
Completely standard other than a complete new exhaust, although nothing special. A bit of a peashooter really :n:
Excellent condition inside and out apart from the odd stone chip on the bonnet, but to be expected considering the year.
After reading the detailing section on here and seeing how nice everyones cars look, I've clayed the car using Meguiars Quick Clay kit, polished it using Meguiars Polish (the one in the 3 step system) and waxed using Meguiars Cleaner Wax.

As it was my week off last week I seem to have got a bit obsessed with cleaning the car and took all the wheels off one by one and cleaned all the brake dust off (inside and out) using Car Plan Wonder Wheels.
I even took a wire brush on the end of a drill to the insides to get all the brake dust off that was ground in.
I then clayed, polished and waxed them inside and out in the hope that future cleaning will just wash the brake dust off easily.

I then made a start on the engine bay, which as you can see in the above picture was not too bad anyway.
I used Gunk spray for this.
Was really easy, just sprayed on, left for 10 mins then washed off.
I then sprayed some silicone spray on the black plastics to make them shine.
I also managed to get a Momo Strut Brace off eBay for £50ish.

Just need some chrome covers for the battery, fuse box etc.
Also has a new rocker cover that needs a badge, but don't have pic of it yet.
Contemplating sending the rocker cover to be chromed. Found a website for a company that does it, costs about £50, a lot cheaper than buying one already done, lol.
Bought a new back box off ScottyGSI and got that fitted today, but can't seem to get it lined up in the center of the cutout in the bumper. It presses against the inside of the wheel arch liner. Still, doesn't look too bad though.
Its a 4" Peco, sounds nice, not too loud, just gives a nice low rumble especially at lower RPM's :y:
12468
Finally, I've given the interior a good clean, although it wasn't bad anyway, and fitted a new gear knob.

Well, thats it upto now.
Probably not be making many more changes from standard other than some smoked angel eyes and smoked rear jewels.
May get an uprated panel filter and possibly mod the standard airbox to make it less restrictive, if someone knows how or can post a guide :y:
Comments/suggestions welcome.
Thanks for looking.
