hey right from the beginning i currently have an alpine head unit withthe whole ipod connection etc but i want dvd in my car i have all the bits i need to fit ps2 as i had it in my old punto but through a kenwood unit
well to cut this epic novel down to a skit i cant add the ps2 to the head unit as the aux in for the sound is what you connect the ipod cable to so i have been in search for headunit that has dvd built in and can connect the ipod to then all i need is a screen
so all i wanted to know after all this is are pioneer headunits any good as i have found one that does it all
sorry to bore:panic::panic::panic::panic:

I've recently fitted one and can't fault it, bloody complex to set-up though as it has a million settings for everything and a 70+ page manual...will master it one day though :y:

Pioneer h/u that I am currently using, one of thier top end units and cannot fault it. Had Alpine in the past and it was very good too, as said, you get what you pay for.

pioneer and alpine are a few of the best companies about for headunits tbh
i only rate pioneer for there subs and headunits, alpine for headunits, subs and amps
there are a lot of other makers out there some are crap ie ministry of sound lol
some very decent makes that offer a oem style look
All depends on the features you want and how much youve got to spen at the end of the day
