What's the best soloution to take off the nut on the brake pipe without damaging the brake pipe itself, can't use a spanner as it's rounded :n:

Using a proper brake pipe spanner will reduce this issue next time you have a job to do on the pipes but for now use mole grips or buy the brake pipe spanner today and give it a whirl? It may be necessary to remake to end or if that can not be done to cut and join a new bit on the pipe. You can buy kits to do this but maybe it might be best to let local garage sort it to save buying the kit.
Good luck mate, hope you get sorted
