Engine Diagnostic light is on constantly Just Came On The Day:panic:
was gettin worried that my car is gona die on me. any1 got any idea wat it could be or how to get it off? thanks

You could try removing the engine management bulb!!!!!!! Seriously though the only sure way is to get the car on a diagnostic to see if there is a problem or it may be that the ECU requires re-setting. If there is a problem, you may not even be aware of it as the car will enter 'limp' mode and will enable you to still run the car even though it will be inefficient.

It could be anything. If you're lucky it'll be a sensor. If your not it could be a genuine fault with the cat, ECU, Air Intake, Anything really. I have read on here that sometimes a ECU reset does the trick (remove the positive cable from the battery for 30 mins). If that doesn't fix it then i would get it to a Citroen garage and get the diagnostic machine on it for (I think) £40 and that will identify exactly where the fault is and probably save you oodles of money.

buy a £20 OBDII reader off Ebay that will tell you whats up with it, shame your miles away or could have used mine.

But will probably be a sensor like the lambda if not noticed any/much difference
