Basically, the drivers side front dipped/main beam and drivers side rear/brake light are both working intermittently.
With the rear light, i've obviously checked the two filaments on the lamp and they are fine as the light does still work. I moved the lamp around in the holder and it still did not come on. The only occasion in which it comes on is if I lightly hit or tap the lamp holder unit (if disassembled) or the exterior light itself (if assembled).
With the front light the tapping method to make it come on doesnt work, it either comes on or doesn't and again, the filament is fine.
Will it be a case of something like an insecure earth? and if so, how can I test? or any other suggestions?
