Police and Non standard exhausts

Saw a thread on this a while back and it so happens where i live some boy that goes to a different college to me but the same one as my mate, told my mate that the cops had stopped him searched all his car then done him for having a Non Standard exhausts! Gave him 3 points and a fine! The exhaust had passed MOT and did not exceed the decibel metre! Looks like its true....

Good for him, if its not above the noise limit, is legal then they should leave him alone.

At this rate if you dont go back to dealer and have exactly the same parts changed when needed you will get 3 points and fined!

Why would somone lie about that, why be a dick?. Listen my mate is my best friend he wouldnt lie, and why would he lie about somthing so trivial. The reason i dont know him is becuase they go to a different college to me!

No everything was declared and literally they tried to do him for somthing so they did him for having a non standard exhaust. There was a thread about it not long ago so its being recorded by people all over the country... if this was a one off then yeh, maybe bull but i doubt it. Very much.

Actually his mate is me :) and this lad's in my English.. got 3 points and a £30 fine :/ he's taking him to court at the end of the month
