The only thing I can think of is if the frequency was reset when you took out the batteries, that might mean that you need to go back to citroen in order for them to re-tune the fob back to the frequency of the car?
Not 100% tho...

Have a go at sitting in the car and pressing the button - see if it does anything...
If it doesnt it may be a number of things - dud battery, transponder(?) box is faulty...

hmmmm..... i think the problem is in the sensor in the car, because the light on the fob is working ? Is there any way i can check tht sensor, or is there a fuse or somethign that could have broken ? smileys/smiley5.gif

Best bet's to have a look at the fuses - see if any have gone.
Other than that - couldnt tell you mate! Sounds like a Citroen job

without starting a new thread, how'd you change the batteries in the fob? It looks pretty much sealed to me...

Theres an indented bit, you can 'slowly' peel them apart with a knife or screwdriver...
