Door not holding?

Hey guys, Sorry ive been making a few threads about my problems with the saxo.. Not even driving the thing yet!

Well the passengers side door holds itself open at about half way but the drive door doesnt hold itself at all so its like a race getting in before the door slams shut on you!

Was wondering is there a quick fix for this? or where abouts i should be looking for the problem?

Lol mate ezy check the door catcher open the door and your see two star heads.between the frame of car and the door . Then on your door your see two 12 mill nuts have alook I change my bros as it kept doing the same lol .:)

Yeah mine was the same , you can get them on Ebay for about £22 .Worth doing !

Mine does this it's bloody annoying because I park perpendicular to the slope of my drive every day and my door don't half come at me with some force sometimes!

Mine does it but i'd rarther keep £22 tbh, ive got a hand to hold it open.

seems to be a very common problem on saxos :p

go to a sprapy and look for a old crashed saxo or what ever and buy 1 from there for alot cheaper :)

How easy is it to replace the check strap. What are the steps involved?
