I think its each to their own on Audio. What you think is good some may not in simple terms. IF you want budget then go Halfords if your wanting something a little more then you would have to go somewhere like a real audio shop....
Egde are simple some boom to go with your music, cheap and cheerful. In Audio it works on the you get what you pay for in most terms. I noticed in Halfords the other day they had some Alpine type R subs, £99.99 on Sale from £179.99 and i had one of these a few years back and i was happy and impressed with this sub and would have one again. If your budget stretches that far id go for one of those. Only 500w rms so aint gonna cost you the earth to power it!

Mate i just brought a dual 12" edge active sub and wow! Its good! and only cost me £110. Not sure how much the single one is tho or how good it sounds. But the dual is amazing! :D

100% Recommended. Sub was with me the following day. In excellent condition and 12 months later with daily use ive had no problems.

EDIT: Seems all the enclosures are out of stock.

Vibe Subs IMO I had an edge with the built in amp but changed it for a Vibe SLR12 sub and 4 channel vibe slick a1 amp

Yeah im after one of those active enclosures... I got rid of my GT4 SERIES JBL as it was wayyy to large lol... was like a Dead body in the boot 24/7.... Im after a 300ish watt Small active enclosure now. Space saving and willy complement my front Component setup.
