What will a pipercross fitler and full 2.5" system do to a mot emisions test on a vtr?

Will having a crappy dual exit exhaust (one either side of the bumper, last owner!!) matter??

I have been a guest here for some time and finally joined, I hope that's alright. It's been great to be with you all. I'm planning on putting a crate engine in it. i havent decided whether its going to be a 347, 331 or even a 306. im hoping for around 400 hp. and ive heard about the caltracs i heard they hook really well.
