just went halfords because my amp wouldnt work and i had tried everything and wanted to see if its blown or have i missed something out.comes out to be that the amps blown. do you think its worth buying a second hand amp, or send it to get fixed (it hasnt got warranty). obviously if you have any that you want to get rid of pm me, not looking for anything expensive.

got the amp with the sub and wiring kit for £40, no idea how much it will cost to fix but at least i know if i do that it will work, you never know what might be wrong with the next one.

yes, tried all the wires, and getting power from everywhere. the guys at halfords said it must be the amp.

Handy with a soldering iron? Open it up and have a quick look? Might be able to spot what's blown and replace it somethings are easier to reach than others, but it might be something simple like a blown capacitor/transistor.
