I dont have very much money to spend because I put most of it away each month.

Managed to earn just under a grand when I was taking my GCSEs by making websites for cash. That kind of money at that age is great, but unfortunately I spent it all :n:
Working part time for two years I managed to save up 5 grand, and now Ive started full time I have managed to save 800 since the start of March.

I get the piss taken out of me by my girlfriends dad though (who happens to be my boss). Says seeing my wallet is like seeing gold dust.

I've been a cycle mechanic since i've left school most my customers are sound but i do get paid squat and work 5 days a week so i dont live a big life i dont drink or blaze anymore cause i have a car and dont buy new bike parts less something breaks and i havent a spare but i'm consistently overdrawn and never have the money to do the mods i want it sucks and most my mods are rather inexpensive diy jobs sorry for lack of punctuation at work typing quickly

I work full time, took a loan out a year and a half ago for my car, which finishes in october so ill be 80 quid up a month. managed to save up 400 towards paying off my car insurance this month...mums gonna lend me the other 150 and ill just pay her back like i was my insurance for 4 months :) happy days. so by october, ill be 130 up a month.

which will come in handy as iv just got myself a new horse and i need all the money i can get for keeping him and competitions!!!!

was tempted to take out another loan for my car insurance but it was silly money repayments and the repayments went up for less money!! wtf?

so id rather scrimp and save for 2/3 months than be racked with debt for another 2 years. no thanks.
but im being good atm. petrol costs me bout 30 a week with work and horse and horse is about 30 pound a week too...with around 50- 100 quid a month all in for the competitions (depends on what we want to qualify for)

I'm in debt at the mo, owe about £2k on a credit card, overdrawn by about £120 and owe my dad £300, and my nana £700, but on the plus side, I have a saxo to sell, an insurance policy to cancel and get refunded on, and my mates owe me £300 between them... so in about 2 months of work and selling/getting refunds/collecting/paying everyone back, I should be about even stevens.

My advice as I have been in the shit with money and have been debt free for about 6-7 months now.

Do yourself a spreadsheet with your incoming and outgoings. Then you know exactly how much you have for yourself. As long as you stick to it you'll be fine.

Used to be crap with money would spend nearly £10 a day at work after petrol and only just scrape through each month. I take everything i have left after DD's phone, incurance etc and give myself a quater to spend each week. Its miles easier to budget when you can actualy see how much you've got and want to save as much as possable for your free time :y:

i have quite a bit in the bank, at least 1k each fortnight although thats in dollars and not pounds. and i get paid weekly atm. that is after i pay bills and rent and treats for myself and the missus which usually includes a weekend away every other week. still get to go out every week for dinner, eat well every night and have a lot of fun.
doing things doesnt have to cost money!

wasnt always like that though i used to struggle like a bitch each month what with loans credit cards etc. best thing was cutting the card up and living within my means.

im in the same boat mate, i once applied for a loan and got rejected as i have no credic cards, no overdrafts nothing, its a bit shit if im honest, the system is all wrong, the more debt your in the higher loan and credit cards youll be offered

the next loan i will ever take will be for a mortgage.

Im low on money all of the time as im only working part time.
But then again the car always has petrol/tax.

Iv'e gotten to the point at the minute where I'm so scared I wanna kill myself... Not actually thinking about it like DW. But when I was 18 I lost my job as a joier then couldnt find another so took a loan... then a credit card. then borrowed from mum, and sister... I think Iv'e got about 6k worth of debt at the minute and I'm paying phone bill and Insurance every month + Board, earn £200 a week on a fuckin agency when the in house staff earn close to £400, it's so de-motivating its unreal. I physically cannot cope anymore and need serious help... I'm just scared to ask my dad for it because I think he'd be dissapointed. Lost another job 5 months ago. Back at work straight away like... Mum lost hers and stepdad lost his all in same month :( So you can see where I'm coming from. Oh btw I'm only 20 with this much shit :(
