Happens every now and then... either airplane mode on, then off... or a reboot, if that doesnt fix.

The man talks sense, I had the same issue and this fixed it...

Do a hard reset
hold the power and home buttons together
Slide to turn off will come up but keep holding until the phone goes off

I think thats how to do it lol

Mine did yesterday but it came back about 20 minutes later

Depending on what network you are on, it could actually be on-going upgrade works to the latest roll-out of ethernet works to that particular celluar network. So in turn could actually be nothing to do with the phone.
